Acacia lamprocarpa

Small tree with pendulous yellow cylinders, maturing to very hard splitting seedpod. Rough stringy bark on lower half of tree. This species has the highest anti-bacterial activity of all wattles. Commonly called Brown Salwood, this species has had a recent name change from A.aulacocarpa.
